Content Syndication Without Shortcuts

Content syndication can help build an addressable consented audience to email. Anyone expecting to give content syndication leads to sales (be they referred to as BANT, Double Touch or HQLs) is likely to be disappointed. What we deliver:

Provide a detailed and systematic briefing document covering lead types, and a very precise audience builder.

We brief a range of suppliers and then present back the most suitable options for the client to choose from.

We collate the vendor responses into a single media plan.

We set up the campaign in a platform of your choice (Convertr, Enhance, Integrate etc - we can advise on these if a platform is not in place).

We manage the campaign to ensure pacing is as expected and leads meet the specification laid out in the brief.

We'll also collate financing, so instead of ten POs/invoices you can simply raise one.
This doesn’t cost you anything, we take our fee (usually 15%) as a transparent commission from the vendor side.

You have final sign off on everything from vendor selection to creatives, our aim is to be an extension of your team and give you your time back.

Media Planning

We can put the plans together (you can recommend or veto any vendors and we'll provide pros and cons for each) and explain the likely impact on CPLs through cross publisher duplication rules etc.

Simplications

One PO and one suppliers whilst enabling you to benchmark multiple vendors including the ones you have on plan now.

No Cost Increase

We work with pretty much every content syndication vendor and we'd be able to run your programmes with no CPL increase and improved transparency around the vendors (we typically charge a 15% agency fee on programmes - this is fixed with the client and we don't profit by preferential trading deals with particular vendors to ensure we are entirely neutral.

Tech Expertise

All included in the cost and the CoSy team know how to use all the different lead validation tools. 

We are entirely tech neutral, and if you’re not currently using one of these platforms our team can advise the best fit for your company.

No Commitment

We don't tie clients into any commitment beyond the PO for the activity they are running

We don't have the answers to everything, but here are some common questions we encounter.

What is your average CPL?

To be very clear we are not a data owner, we sit between you and the suppliers, so until we send out a brief we won’t be able to say, however, based on our relationships in the industry we are typically able to bring your average CPL down. 

How much do you charge?

Unlike larger agencies we're pretty flexible and entirely transparent when it comes to fees. Typically we take our fee a % from the CPL, however, if it makes more sense for you, we can charge per campaign, per month, or on a percentage of media spend.

Are you just in the UK?

We’re a UK based company, but with staff working in  the US, UK, Europe and UAE, so we can run global campaigns and get pretty close to any time zone.

What are the challenges of running content syndication in DACH?

If you're running any activity in DACH, and a few other European countries, their interpretation of double opt-in can make content syndication more complex. We can help you fully understand the requirements and how to remain compliant.

How long does it take you to activate?

Usually, we deliver leads within 4 weeks of an initial brief. But if you need to activate quicker, we can accelerate setup as needed.

What is your process for delivering leads?

Can you help us syndicate webinars and other non-whitepaper content?

Do you work with publisher networks?

We recommend the best publishers for you on a campaign, by campaign basis and frequently work with networks for scale. There are pros and cons to working with networks, and if you have a preferred partner we'll happily work with them.

Intent, Double Touch, or BANT: worth the higher cost?

Only if they convert to pipeline at a rate that justifies the inflated cost. We can help embed processes that test, track and validate ROI. We usually find that the cost increase isn’t justified.
